About Reid Middle School

Reid Middle School is a grade six through eight urban middle school located in Pittsfield, Massachusetts. Our school is composed of two small learning communities, or houses, which promote a family-like atmosphere; here, students can be well-known and develop long-term relationships with a core group of teachers.

At Reid Middle School, we support and practice the 4 P’s – Prompt, Prepared, Polite & Participate. These four character traits are reinforced by staff, and are expected to be practiced by students in all areas of the building, including classrooms, hallways, cafeterias and buses.
