Reid Middle School, home of the Raptors, is a grade seven and eight urban middle school located in Pittsfield, Massachusetts.

Our school is composed of two small learning communities, 7th grade Pontoosuc and 8th grade Onota, which promote a family-like atmosphere; here, students can be well-known and develop long-term relationships with a core group of teachers.

At Reid Middle School, we support and practice the principles of the Portrait of A Graduate through our PRIDE expectations: Prepared Individual, Responsible Person, Inquisitive Thinker, Dependable Citizen and Engaging Communicator. These character traits are reinforced by staff, and are expected to be practiced by students in all areas of the building, including classrooms, hallways, cafeterias and buses.
